Aaron Hernandez–the former NFL star accused of the murder of fellow footballer Odin Lloyd–may have pleaded not guilty, but prosecutors say not only is he guilty, his cousin helped him cover up the crime.

37-year old Tanya Singleton is being held without bail on charges of conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact, though she has pleaded not guilty. Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayana Jenkins, was also indicted last week.

Hernandez pleaded not guilty earlier this month and is expected to ask to be granted bail next week during a pre-trial conference. His arrest came in June, after Lloyd’s body was found in an industrial complex near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Massachusetts; he was cut from the New England Patriots not long after. The DA says there is quite a bit of evidence connecting Hernandez to Lloyd’s murder, including bullet casings, surveillance video, and a cell phone that Hernandez reportedly tried to destroy. The motive for the killing is allegedly a dispute that erupted between the two men after Hernandez saw Lloyd talking to someone he didn’t care for inside a club.

The former football star is also being investigated for the 2012 murder of two men he had a confrontation with in a nightclub. If convicted of Lloyd’s murder, he could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
