With NFL training camps commencing this week, former Broncos and Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is staying in shape and waiting for a call.

Tebow has been training at the Performance Enhancement Professionals facility in Scottsdale, Arizona, and also in Los Angeles, where he is coached by quarterback guru Tom House, to work on his skills and conditioning.

Regarding his intense training, Tebow commented, “I feel great. I feel the strongest, healthiest, throwing the best I ever have. I’m just really excited about the improvement.”

Tebow was cut from the Patriots roster before the start of last season and has not been a full-time starter in the NFL since the 2011 season. Still, Tebow believes he has a shot.

“One of my favorite quotes is ‘I don’t know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future.’ And in that, it gives you peace to just continue to work, go after what your heart desires and when you do that, you don’t have any regrets. I think that’s the best way to live life,” Tebow said.

Tebow discusses his Scottsdaleregimen, which includes “Danney-Ball” (named for Tebow’s trainer, Ian Danney), which is a variation of volleyball played with a 10-pound medicine ball:

If Tebow’s NFL bid doesn’t work out, in December he was hired by ESPN as a college football analyst for the SEC Network as co-host of SEC Nation, a travelling pre-game show. He made his ESPN debut during the 2014 BCS National Championship Game.

The Heisman Trophy winner also recently bought a five bedroom, 4.5 bathroom house located in Jacksonville, Florida, which made Florida Gators fans giddy. Tebow and his brother have also bought into the PDQ restaurant franchise in Jacksonville.

It’s been reported that Tebow is being courted by Orlando Predators arena football team owner David Siegel, so there is at least an option to play football in some capacity.
