Early Thursday morning, 2 Chainz was one of eleven people to be arrested after not agreeing to exit a tour bus during a traffic stop. The incident took place near Oklahoma City on Interstate 40.

2 Chainz was on his way from performing at a concert with Lil Wayne and T.I.

According to Billboard, the bus was stopped because of a missing taillight around midnight. Police soon smelled marijuana and asked to search the bus, without a search warrant.

The bus driver was arrested. The rest of the passengers refused to get off of the bus. An almost ten hour standoff then occured.

All throughout the night, 2 Chainz was tweeting about what was going on. He voiced his opinions verbally as well as on twitter.

This shit will make u go crazy , our bus gets pulled 1 a week and they always say I smell weed I need to search ur bus. Sht gets tiring

A little before 8:00 am, the tour bus was towed to a police station and the men were arrested due to obstruction to a police officer. The men were held at the Oklahoma County Jail until late Thursday afternoon, said CBSNews. 2 Chainz was arrested with the same group in February for drug charges while on a visit to Maryland.

According to MTV, 2 Chainz will perform in concert in Greenwood Village, Colorado at Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre on August 23rd.
