After 19 firefighters were killed on Sunday while battling wildfires in Arizona, the country mourned not just the loss of lives, but the loss of 19 brave souls who did what most of us could never do.
The wildfires have been the deadliest where firefighters are concerned since 9/11, and on Tuesday evening, mourners gathered in Prescott, Arizona to pay their respects and honor those who gave their lives while doing their jobs. Included in the vigil service was the release of 19 purple balloons and the playing of taps.
