John Travolta, who has been elbow-deep in controversy all year, has followed up all the rumors and web-speculation on his sexuality with a Christmas album, recorded with his old “Grease” co-star Olivia Newton-John.

The duo did a sequel to “You’re The One That I Want”, called “I Think You Might Like It”, and so far it’s been widely panned by critics who call it “odd” and “creepy”.

Travolta, however, doesn’t care about the bad reviews.

“My desire was to make This Christmas an intimate album, not something too ostentatious or showy. From the moment we decided to do this, magic happened,” he said.

The album has some famous guest voices, like Barbara Streisand and Tony Bennett, and proceeds from the sales go to charities chosen by Travolta and Newton-John. Check out the video below decide for yourself whether it’s worthy enough to be called a “sequel” or if it is, indeed, creepy.

Sorry all you guys who think it is a “creepy” video….I think it is wonderful. Filled with a Christmas spirit, but anytime will be just as great. Not a Travolta/Newton-John fan in particular, but love “Grease” and I think it is a worthy sequel. Makes me enjoy the flavor of what they were going for! I don’t think I like it….I actually love it!!!!

I don’t just like it….I love it. Grow up all of you who begrudge the “baby boomers” the opportunity to get older – hey, gonna happen to you, too, so be prepared!! Love the video…catchy tune and lovely sentiment (especially the policeman and returning soldier) Good for Christmas and anytime…..Happy Holidays!

I like it!!!!!!! It’s about time. I’m an Olivia fanatic and my wife is a John Travolta fanatic. BUT REALLY- It’s cute. Heartfelt and not in the least bit offensive. I’ve been DJing for almost 27 years and I’ve seen alot of crap come out.#1 It’s great to see the 2 of them perform again #2 No Fbombs, no skim, no racial remarks, just feel good music!!!!!I LIKE IT!!!!!!

People are taking this WAY too seriously! They obviously have a great sense of humor and made it a lot of fun, cheese and all! Lighten up, it’s all for CHARITY! (And it’s a great CD!)

That’s right, was just good fun. for those who think its creepy, get over yourself

I have been an Olivia Newton-John fan forever. And I think reuniting with Travolta for this playful Christmas album is GREAT! They obviously didn’t make this to win a Grammy…… it’s all for their charities. I downloaded the whole album and I think the arrangements and those two together make for a different same ‘ole standard stuff! But, if your looking for Celion Deion and Josh Groban this is not for you.

This is a blast from the past, how cool!!! And it’s sad that so many people criticize the album. It’s done for those who need it and such effort should always be applauded. Moreover, Christmas is approaching and the songs of these great singers can only rekindle the memories most of us have from the days gone by when Grease was so popular.
