Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez are teaming up for a new song that will appear on Lopez' new album that is set to release sometime early next year. This will be Lopez' eighth album to be released, to date.
"Both of them are huge fans of each other and excited to work together!" a source tells Us.
23-year-old Swift and 44-year-old Lopez recently joined together to sing a duet during Swift's concert at the Los Angeles Staples Center on August 25. They performed Lopez' hit song, "Jenny From the Block". After such a successful performance, the two singers decided to collaborate on another song.
After the performance, Swift and Lopez took to Twitter to share their reaction to the experience of getting to perform together. They both seemed very excited!

While Swift and Lopez will be continuing to focus on their music, many of you have probably heard that Lopez will be returning as a judge on the upcoming season of "American Idol". She will be joining former judge Keith Urban and newbie to the judging panel Harry Connick, Jr.
Swift is always working on new music and writing new songs. She has said that her follow up album to "Red" is going to be different from her other albums that she has released. "But I think it's about to start to kick into full gear," Swift said. "I'm about to go into the studio. It's about to get really intense."
