It may be time for investors to stop feverishly disposing of their eBay shares.  Financial firm Collins Stewart has given the online auction company a small nod of approval by upgrading it from "sell" to "hold." 

The development may not be big in a YouTube sense, but News Corp and NBC Universal are bound to be pleased.  Hulu, their online video site, has sealed deals with Break.com, BuddyTV.com, Flixster.com, MyYearbook.com, TV.com, TVGuide.com, and Zap2it.com.

Video sites should thank comedy shows, car magazines, and news anchors for traffic – they’ve been plugged by all of them.  Search engines and social networks also belong on that list, though, and new Hitwise data shows that they’re about even in terms of significance.
