Splinter Cell: Blacklist has been announced for so long that it's hard to forget it hasn't been released yet. Moreover, the game has been overshadowed by other Ubisoft games such as Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, not to mention The Division, the next-gen Tom Clancy-branded game that was announced at E3.
Still, Blacklist is coming out on August 20 and Ubisoft today released another trailer for the stealth-action game. The new video, titled "Spies vs. Mercs Classic" is centered around the Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode. In the 2v2 mode, players will take on the role of one of the two classes, with spies trying to hack terminals and mercs attempting to stop them. Spies operate in 3rd-person view and have stealth abilities. Mercs operate in 1st-person view and have big guns and a flashlight.
