Paulina Gretzky is going to be a mommy!
Paulina, who is engaged to Dustin Johnson, recently revealed that she is pregnant with the couple's first child.
"[We] are so excited to finally share with you all our amazing news..we're having a baby!!" Gretzky, the 25-year-old daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, captioned a photo of her holding her caressing her growing baby bump on her personal Instagram account.
While this is exciting news, this hasn't been the best year so far for Johnson. In July, Dustin announced that he would be taking some time away from the PGA golf tour.
"By committing the time and resources necessary to improve my mental health, physical well-being and emotional foundation, I am confident that I will be better equipped to fulfill my potential and become a consistent champion," Johnson told E! News in July. "I respectfully ask my fans, well-wishers and the media for privacy as I embark upon this mission of self-improvement."
In August, it was reported by Golf.com that Johnson had failed three drug tests: two for cocaine use (in 2012 and 2014) and one for marijuana use ( in 2009). While reports suggested Johnson was suspended, PGA Tour executive vice president Ty Votaw explained that it was Johnson's decision to leave the tour.
"With regard to media reports that Dustin Johnson has been suspended by the PGA Tour, this is to clarify that Mr. Johnson has taken a voluntary leave of absence and is not under a suspension from the PGA Tour," Votaw said in a statement at the time.
Despite his current problems, Johnson's family and his future father-in-law have vowed to stand by him. “He’s our future son-in-law and we love him dearly,” Wayne Gretzky said. “It’s been a tough time … When you go through tough times as a family, that’s when you have to stick together the most.”
