First heard about a “White House statement” on Twitter. Monitored CNN Twitter – watched the White House statement from the .gov site. Did not need tv.

  2. I was watching the BBC news channel and there was little else on other than the weather.

  3. This new is actually circulated all over the world. And here in Philippines too.

I read on yahoo that his death has some drawbacks too. I think only well tell what is that.

  4. God bless America! It’s about time we got that evil monster. All that hard work, blood, sweat, and tears shedded by all the brave men and women of the American armed forces finally paid off. Their work has not been in vain. Much respect to everyone serving in the military, I salute you.

its big lye by president US. Mr. President’s needs to win the next year election so that the people’s ask about what u r working until now for that case he announce the Osama kill. this is USA dirty political game to stop the Mission of Terrorism and to Mobilize and Initiate the people for election to get vote. But Osama bin laden dead before 4 years by kidney infection so the USA heard now about Osama for that case to success our mission just we announced.

  6. I can’t be aware that people today in European union, the hurting of bin Laden thought by many as critical. There is certainly critique that bin Laden got no trial and that the USA invaded a foreign location. I do believe the U.S. had every right to perform this action. Who, if not the U.S.? I am from Germany I am so happy as the Americans about this campaign. Great job!

  7. Although it’s great news he’s dead, It doesn’t stop terrorism at all. Things may even get worse. Once again, Americans will be afraid of flying and this will in turn hurt the airline industry. For a country seeking economic recovery, this is something we don’t need.
