Miranda Lambert can take at least part of the credit for ex-husband Blake Shelton's considerable slim down. The Voice coach boasted a much trimmer physique on Monday and Tuesday--the first two evenings of The Voice's season nine premiere.
"Well, you know, you should try the divorce diet," Blake Shelton said while appearing as a guest on America's Morning Show on Wednesday.
"The whole stress of getting through all of that is just...It was just weird. I'm not eating as many fried pickles and stuff. I'm doing great. I am," he added of his split from Miranda Lambert. "It's just...I wasn't, like, going to the gym. Just stay as busy as you can to kind of keep your mind off of everything."

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert divorced after four years of marriage back in July. Just hours after their split hit the media, it was announced that it was final.
"In Oklahoma, it happens so fast. Like, Miranda and I didn't have any kids, and we had a prenuptial agreement, whatever we had. Once we filed for divorce, it was over in, like, I think it was like a nine or 10-day waiting period until it's over," Shelton told the Bobby Bones Show on Wednesday.

Shortly after their divorce made news, Miranda Lambert did a show in Nashville, where she addressed the elephant in the room.
"Well, I've been living off of caffeine and sad songs lately," she told her audience. "So, we're gonna drink some caffeine and sing sad songs."
Sources say Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are still friends, despite no longer being married.
“Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this, it is what it is," Blake Shelton said.
Hopefully that's possible--especially because of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's special set of circumstances. Not only were they husband and wife, they are also two of country music's top stars and they travel in very similar circles.
Can Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton maintain a friendship? They will--at the very least--be good for each other's striking physiques.
