Minimalist Posters of Cult Classics

Yesterday we brought you Minimalist Disney Posters for the post-modern household. Seriously, check them out. They will blow you away. Today we bring you a more adult oriented re-imagining of famous movie posters. These posters are from 84/5 Studios and like before, are available for purchase on Etsy.

Though some of these movies are rate PG or PG-13, for the most part, they represent movies geared towards adults. Like most cult classics, they bring out the child’s enthusiasm for cinema in all of us.

The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo

Gamera

Night of the Living Dead

Mars Attacks

Donnie Darko

Jaws

2001: A Space Odyssey

I put this in order of my favorites, there are more being sold on 84/5′s Etsy. The original posters for 2001: A Space Odyssey are minimalist enough for me, and there are a lot of other images from that movie that are better suited for this kind of artwork.

Also, I’m not sure if the amount of text on some of these really qualifies them as “minimalist”, but they are cool none-the-less.

What do you think? Which ones are your favorites?
