Love her or hate her, Miley Cyrus has become a topic of conversation in recent months because of her Twitter antics, her boyfriend (“Hunger Games” star Liam Hemsworth), and her blender mishaps. But recently, the Disney star and Achy-Breaky-Heart heiress is in the news for something else: her big heart.

Cyrus tweeted this week that she found an adorable puppy abandoned in a cardboard box in front of Wal-Mart and decided to adopt him:

Though unsure of the dog’s breed, Cyrus said she believes him to be a Rottweiler/Beagle mix.
