Lauren Graham will soon have her two on-screen daughters by her side. Alexis Bledel is reprising her role as Rory Gilmore in the upcoming Gilmore Girls revival, and now Mae Whitman--who played Graham's daughter Amber from the now-defunct NBC show Parenthood--is on board for a cameo as well.

According to TVLine, there's been no word yet on the role Mae Whitman will play, but the interaction between her, Lauren Graham, and Alexis Bledel, "will delight Parenthood fans."

Lauren Graham's on-screen daughters met for the first time in June. It looks like they became fast friends, too.

Mae Whitman and Lauren Graham have remained close since their time on Parenthood came to a close.

How cool is it that fans will soon be treated to the best of Lauren Graham, as she combines characters from Gilmore Girls and Parenthood?

Which of the two was your favorite Lauren Graham show?

When the Gilmore Girls revival hits Netflix, it will air in four 90-minute "mini-movies." Each segment will depict one of the four seasons.
