Kris Jenner has broken her silence on daughter Kourtney Kardashian's recent split from Scott Disick. Some feared the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch might push for a reconciliation since Disick is known to bring in viewers to the family's reality TV show.
Alas Kris Jenner came through as a mom over a businesswoman for a change and praised Kourtney's ending of her decade-long relationship with the father of her three children, Mason, Reign, and Penelope Disick.
"She's kind of my hero right now--she makes good decisions," Jenner said in an interview in the latest issue of Haute Living New York magazine.
"She always puts her children first and is accepting, loving, and dedicated to her family--she doesn't get easily ruffled," Kris Jenner added. "This situation has made me realize how strong she is."

Kourtney Kardashian recently dumped Scott Disick after enduring years of his partying ways. On a recent trip to Monte Carlo, Disick was seen in several photographs with young Hollywood stylist Chloe Bartoli in some rather cozy situations. While Chloe Bartoli wasn't the reason for the split she instead served as that proverbial icing on the cake for Kourtney.
Kris Jenner went on in her interview to sing the praises of some of her other children in addition to Kourtney Kardashian.
"I learned quickly that all my kids have the most amazing work ethic. They all stepped up to the plate and showed me that they were frickin' amazing!" she said, noting a recent brainstorming session with Kim Kardashian West as an example of her work in growing the Kardashian family franchise.
Kris raved about her fashion model daughter Kendall Jenner, too, dishing about a recent runway show in which Kendall walked for Chanel.
"She walked out in the finale as the bride with Karl [Lagerfeld] himself," Kris Jenner gushed, "and I thought, 'Life doesn't get better than this!' I was so proud of her--my heart swelled."
Kris also opened up recently--for the first time--about former husband Bruce Jenner's transitioning into Caitlyn Jenner. She had admitted earlier on to being very hurt by what she perceived as Bruce Jenner's double life.

"I just want everyone that I love in my family and in my life to be happy," Kris told Haute Living New York, "and so my wish for Caitlyn is that she finds her joy."
If Kris Jenner truly feels this way, she will come to find peace in her heart over Caitlyn Jenner's new life.
Meanwhile it's abundantly clear that Kris is proud of her children. It's refreshing to see she supports Kourtney Kardashian's recent split from Scott Disick instead of encouraging her to take him back for the sake of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
