John Travolta is probably ready to bury his head in the sand. It seems as though there was something new developing around this story each and every day this week. Today, for example, found a third person coming forward with all sorts of nasty allegations about sexual advances aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, incidents that occurred back in 2009. All of this craziness is enough to make a man request a nude full-body massage. Oh, wait.
Earlier today, we brought you the story about the third accuser in this whole sordid scandal who claims that Travolta propositioned him for sex. Now, hours after the story broke, Marty Singer, the actor's attorney, has lashed out at the latest finger-pointer, claiming that the guy is just looking for his own 15 minutes of fame.
Not one to mince words, Marty Singer had this to say about the latest batch of accusations:
This is just another ridiculous claim by someone hopping on the bandwagon to get his 15 minutes of fame with a story about something that supposedly happened over three years ago.
At that time Zanzi's supervisors did not believe him, confined him to his cabin and subsequently fired him, according to media reports. Significantly, we never heard of this guy before. The fact that we are only hearing about him now through tabloid gossip stories three years later speaks volumes.
In other words, Zanzi's story doesn't have legs.
What's even more interesting is that, according to Reuters, John Doe #1's attorney is no longer representing the masseur. The accuser's new lawyer apparently isn't ready to speak about the case. As of this writing, he wasn't available for comment.
