Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard of 19 Kids and Counting fame celebrated their one-year anniversary this weekend. No, the occasion didn't mark the one-year anniversary of their marriage, but the one-year anniversary of their engagement instead.

Derick shared his sentiments via Instagram.

"One year ago today, she said yes! Happy engagement anniversary to my beautiful bride @jillmdillard I love you Jill Michelle! #newlyweds," he captioned the following photo.

Jill Duggar got in on the sentimentality, too, and shared her own version of their engagement anniversary joy.

"One year ago today, the sweetest man in the whole world asked me to marry him! I said "yes, totally!"...now, 9 months into marriage we await the arrival of our little #babydilly," Jill Duggar captioned her Instagram shot. Of course the 'Baby Dilly' she refers to in the caption is the baby she and Derick are expecting any day now.

A couple of days before the anniversary of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard's engagement, he wondered if 'Baby Dilly' would throw a wrench into the couple's anniversary plans.

"I wonder if #babydilly will decide to come on the one year anniversary of my engagement to @jillmdillard this weekend," Derick captioned a photo of Jill at just past her due date.

It's uncertain how Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard celebrated the one-year anniversary of their engagement, but one thing is for certain. They surely stayed close to home. With Jill past her due date, 'Baby Dilly' could arrive at any time. And since Jill Duggar is training to be a midwife, she knows what to expect, and how important it is to be ready to roll when labor begins.

The entire 19 Kids and Counting family is anxiously awaiting the arrival of 'Baby Dilly.' It will be fun to learn what Jill Duggar Dillard and her hubby name their son when he's born. Surely he won't be called 'Baby Dilly' once he arrives.
