Chick-Fil-A’s Anti-Gay Views Got You Feeling Guilty? Try A Homemade Chick-Fil-Gay

Chick-Fil-A has never really tried to hide the fact that they are a “Christian organization.” If the fact that they are close on Sundays didn’t tip you off, the company has made it pretty clear that they support a “traditional” set of values when it comes to sex and relationships. Oh, and then there are the millions of dollars in donations to anti-gay groups.

And earlier this week, company president Dan Cathy eliminated all doubt by pleading guilty as charged to supporting a “Biblical definition of the family unit.” Although his remarks were unsurprising, they created a bit of a ruckus among the internet community.

“Well, guilty as charged. We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that…we know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles,” he said.

As you can imagine, plenty of gay-rights supporters aren’t too thrilled about this and have spoken out against eating at the restaurant, despite the tastiness of their products.

If you’re a supporter of marriage equality and still want to indulge in a great fried chicken sandwich without the guilt, Hilah Cooking has a solution for you:

After the massive backlash, Chick-Fil-A has backpedaled a bit on their President’s comments.

“The Chick-fil-A culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender,” said the company in a Facebook post. “We will continue this tradition in the over 1,600 Restaurants run by independent Owner/Operators. Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.”

If a Christian company is being bashed and “boycotted” for following it’s beliefs (which it has a right to do…legally) then how is it fair that other organizations that are gay supporters don’t have to donate to a religion? Is there only discrimination over sexuality and race or have people forgotten that the whole reason America was founded was based upon religion persecution?

Finally a company who is NOT afraid to stand on their commitment to what they believe. Who’s idea was it to make a Chick-Fil-A sandwich at home??? YUCK!!!! That’s like making Taco Bell, Wendy’s or McDonald’s at home. Can you say…”DUMB”

For every person that makes one at home, we are committing to 10 people replacing them!

Their new statements show they have backed down.

      • Cynthia

Too bad they backed down . . . they had nothing to ‘back down’ from. they should have stuck to their guns. They would have gotten a lot more business by standing firm than by backing down. very disappointed that they caved like a cheap tent and let the sodomites have their way . . . boo Chick-Fil-A

        • Maryam

I really hope you’re joking and don’t have children.

I have hetero and homo friends. None of them give a crap what position any restaurant chain takes on sexual preference. We just want to go get a sandwich or a taco or a piece of chicken. For the ones who choose to make a deal out of insignificant issues like this, all I can say is get a life. Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindu, Gays, etc. all need to make a living. How much problem do any of us have when we go into any establishment and can easily figure out their race, religeous, or sexual preference. We just order, pay, and go eat for heaven’s sake (Oops! Did I say heaven?)

I think you “Paragons of (IN)Tolerance” should quit yer bitchin’!
you already have More than enough Respect considering you’re only 3% of the population (sorry but that’s a Fact!)

    • Kenny

Can you imagine if their comments were towards race? lol

  • Alan

Actually I think I’m gonna go have a Chick-Fil-A RIGHT NOW!!!

  • Keven

Now if only we could be the ones to bash and “boycott” them! I say if they want rights, they should go start their own country, I hear Antartica is nice this time of year. I think we can give each of them say, 100 acres? I personally am sick and tired of having to listen to all of their whining. Eat mor chikin!

  • Tom

    She’s adorable–and I will try that recipe–she seems really cool–wish I could meet her

Amen and Bravo to Chick-fil-A! What in the HELL do they have to apologize for?????? For believing in God? For observing the Sabbath day? This creep seems to imply that they have no right to object to the gay lifestyle and unwholesome conduct!!!! What is THAT about? The gays are the most intolerant, nasty, hate-filled and vindictive bunch of hypocrites I have ever run into and I seriously doubt that losing what little of their business that CFA gets will even register on radar. The evil ones tried to take down Cracker Barrel 10 years ago and it backfired (no pun intended) Chick-Fil-A is a wholesome, Godly, America-loving company and thank God that they are not afraid to exercise their freedoms and speak out for what is right and true!
Wake up America . . . the Libs, the Gays, the Global Warmers, the Feminists and abortionists are a small minority and we cannot allow the tail to wag the dog . . . it will cost us our country and our souls if we do!

    • Kate

I hope you do not have children. If you do I feel sorry for them. To have to live around such hate. They really have no chance. Gonna end up just like you hateful.

      • KateBeQuiet

Kate, I would love to meet you someday…lets make it a date. How about when Jesus comes back and we can sit and watch him kick all of the homosexuals out?
        Good for Chick-fil-A. God Bless.

      • Maryam

Kate, if you’re lesbian, hell let’s date and have some drinks. You’r on the right track!

  • Dave

Another fine example of the absolute bully tactic taken by gays all the while yelling how people hate them for their chosen behavior. No one believes your crying wolf crap anymore. Chick-Fil-A is to be commended…you pro gays are the ones authorizing hate to anyone who does not carry your water. Wear your hatemongering badges with your gay pride lefties…average folks are not buying your lies anymore.

    • http://www.informative-works.info Michael

I agree Dave. Some of these groups make it seem wrong to value a traditional family. The guy stated his beliefs and because they don’t co-inside with theirs, they want to shun the chain of restaurants. Divide us up!

So sad that so many people actually believe and twist simple truths into their own form of hatred. And those of us with a clear understanding of what Christianity means… Know for certain that only Christ himself can and will be the judge when the time comes… We also know that it is required and we are commanded to love one another. …no bearing false witness.as well.. Christ himself would not and did not condemn any sinners when he walked amount them .. And he was aware of their sins… He loved and loves each one of us… If Christians can not contribute money to groups or organizations that stand for and promote their own shared beliefs…( which hatred is not a part of christian beliefs last times checked). Then where do we draw the line. Do others who promote and finance ANY ANTI CAUSE or Hate themed boycott.. Are they allowed to donate to their hate promoting causes? How bout this…. How bout we all donate to whatever we want. And mind our own business and let the haters. Justt keep on hating… Such a waste…. I love chick fill a. And I love every gay person I am related to and have a friendship with. .. I’m praying they know and respect my thoughts. And I will do the same..

Homosexuals are anti-family, anti-white, and anti-American. I wish Chick Fil A would just put a NO FAGGOTS sign on the door, so all you buggers would have a fit and die.

This a good time to have a debate,Lets look at two different farms:
1.Mr. Cathy, founder of Chik-Fil-A, believes that only a rooster and a hen should be married.
2.The Muppets and President Obama disagree. On their ranch two bulls make whoopee on a regular basis, Miss Piggy takes a role in the filth with a girl pig,and it is clear that Kermit has been putting more than flies in his mouth.

This is the great divide in our culture. The real question is the question of truth.I take the stand that the scriptures speak to this issue once and for all time. The other view is the farm run by President Obama and The MUPPETS , WHERE ANYTHING GOES AND OUR NATION IS BEING SOLD A BUM STEER.ACTUALLY TWO BUM STEERS SINCE THEY CLAIM TO BE MARRIED TO EACH OTHER AND REFUSE TO PART COMPANY.
