For the first time since they announced their separation in August, Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas were seen out together...wearing their wedding bands! Does this mean that the couple has
decided to give things another try?
Zeta-Jones, Douglas, and their two children Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10, were seen out on the town on December 22 in New York City. For their family outing, they first had lunch at the Manhattan eatery Orso, then they went to see the Broadway musical Motown and finally went to see a showing of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, according to E! online.
Douglas has made it well known that he wants to reconcile with his wife. Earlier this month, it was reported that Douglas had been spending most of his time at Zeta-Jones' Manhattan apartment, spending time with the children and cooking pancakes for the family.
“When he’s in New York, he makes the kids breakfast and comes back in the evening to watch TV with them before bedtime,” a source said. “Then he gets his marching orders from his wife and returns to sleep at his own place in Manhattan. Michael is very bothered about spending regular downtime with Dylan and Carys rather than just seeing them for dinners and days out. It’s very sweet when he turns up at the apartment to cook for them because he so desperately wants to be back as part of the family’s life. Catherine thinks it’s really touching he’s being so hands-on with the kids – and he’s praying it’s the key back into her heart.”
While it has not officially been confirmed, it seems as though the couple's relationship is definitely on the mends.
