Joining him for the show were American Idol stars Candice Glover and Scotty McCreery; Glee’s Darren Criss, Jackie Evancho, Megan Hilty, and famed movie music creator John Williams, who conducted music from the movie Lincoln Diamond debuted a song named “Freedom Song (They’ll Never Take Us Down),” which was a tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron hosted the event, which was held on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
