Take that Antonio Banderas.
Melanie Griffith had a rather unique way of letting her ex know Tuesday that she is moving on — by covering up a tattoo that reads "Antonio" with a bandage over the ink with another name that is becoming the focus of her life in the wake of a painful breakup.
The 56-year-old actress covered the arm tattoo with a bandage with her name "Mel" written on the coverup. The bandage lines up nicely with the heart of the original tattoo peeking out from beneath the patch.
Or maybe she's just trying to quit smoking.
In any case, she does seem to be moving on. She has a slight smile on her face in the pics as she runs some errands around town.
Reportedly, the Working Girl actress has been in the process of removing the famous tattoo. Sadly, the permanent sign of the love she once felt for her estranged husband has been the center of attention ever since news of the breakup was announced earlier this summer.
