The Angry Birds Trilogy was released today, bringing avian slingshot action to home consoles. To coincide with the launch, Rovio has produced a live-action launch trailer for the game, seen below. It features animated angry birds crashing into everyday things. You have to wonder why anyone but a window and glass dealer would be smiling, though.
Angry Birds Trilogy features the first 3 Angry Birds games: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio. The game is out now for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo 3DS. The Xbox 360 version of the game has Kinect controls enabled, and the PlayStation 3 version works with the Move controller. The 3DS version supports 3D and has some StreetPass functionality.
This may be one of the last big launches of the Angry Birds era. Rovio's next big title, Bad Piggies, launches on September 27th, and will show the situation from the pigs' point of view.
