If the new show Transparent just hit your radar because of its Golden Globes win and you’ve been itching to see what the fuss is about, this weekend offers you a chance.
If you don’t have Amazon Prime, Transparent is off limits to you. This Saturday (1/24), for one day only, Amazon is going to let everyone stream the show – prime member or no. According to the company, this is a ‘celebration’ of the show’s massive success.
“We’re incredibly proud of everyone involved in the making of Transparent—the team took a risk and it paid off,” said Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. “Big kudos and congrats to Jill, Jeffrey, and all the cast and crew.”
You have from Saturday at 12:01 am EST to 11:59 pm PST to stream all ten episodes of the first season.
Amazon is also slashing the price of a year-long Amazon Prime membership this weekend – $72 in honor of the 72nd annual Golden Globes.
