Interviewed earlier this week by Us Weekly, Ono shared some interesting facts about herself that many people might not know.
Married to John Lennon from 1969-1980, the singer-songwriter who, alongside Paul McCartney, wrote most of The Beatles’ tunes, Yoko Ono was by her husband’s side when he was assassinated in New York City on December 8, 1980. She has addressed rumors that she broke up The Beatles several times in the years since Lennon’s death.
“I had nothing to do with breaking up the Beatles. And I think Paul [McCartney] is a pretty cool dude,” she told Us Weekly.

Some of the fun facts Yoko Ono shared include that she has “never slept more than three or four hours at a time.” She also “wasn’t into drugs.” And Gone With the Wind is to this day her favorite movie.
One of the facts Yoko Ono shared went without saying.
“Maybe people already know this, but I miss John every day,” she said.
