Yahoo announced a new update to Image Search today, which showcases scenic photos of destinations when you search for locations. When you search for a place or country, Yahoo will show Getty Images from that location.

“This partnership allows us to display high-quality photos from award-winning photographers,” says Yahoo Search Product Director Girish Krishnan.

You can hover over photo thumbnails to see details about the photo. Click the upper-left-hand corner to view it in full-screen mode.

This is just the latest in a series of changes Yahoo has been making to its search experience throughout 3013. Back in January, Yahoo added Creative Commons Flickr results. In June, Yahoo launched a big redesign of its main web search results pages.

The new travel photos feature is only available in the U.S.
