Yahoo announced that the Yahoo Mail app on iOS will now let you track packages in the U.S. The app now includes package notifications with the latest release.
The feature enables users to view and track shipped packages in the Yahoo Today section of the app. It works with packages from Amazon, eBay, Zappos, Target, Best Buy, and Macy’s.com, to name a few.
Yahoo notifies the user when the package is shipped, as well as when it’s scheduled to arrive, and what’s actually in the shipment.
“We even added the much-requested ability to sort and select the type of content in your ‘Today’ section to make it even more personalized,” Yahoo notes. “By clicking on the gear icon on the top left corner, you will see a new ‘Edit Yahoo Today’ option for you to pick and choose what you’d like to see, including News Digest, Sports, Weather, Horoscope, Finance, Screen and Flickr.”
“Want to pick your favorite sports team? Now, you can do it within the ‘Yahoo Today’ section,” it adds. “Go to your Sports card and tap on the gear icon to set or remove your favorites. You can also edit your astrological sign in the daily horoscope section.”
The update will hit Android in the near future, Yahoo says.
