Whitney Houston is laid to rest in a Westfield, New Jersey cemetery, and now her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown lies beside her. Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, visited both graves recently.

It was back on January 31 that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter was discovered unconscious–facedown in a bathtub in the Roswell, Georgia townhouse in which she lived with Nick Gordon. Bobby Brown and members of Whitney Houston’s family believe Gordon is responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s death.

Bobbi Kristina Brown died just over a month ago, on July 26. Prior to her death a $40 million civil suit was filed against Nick Gordon, alleging he physically and emotionally abused Bobbi Kristina and stole money from her bank account while she was unconscious in a hospital bed. Since her death that suit has been amended. He has yet to be charged with her death.

Bobby Brown and members of Whitney Houston’s family were adamant that Nick Gordon not visit Bobbi Kristina while she was in the hospital, the rehab center, or the hospice facility where she drew her final breath. They wouldn’t allow him to attend either her wake or funeral either. Visiting Bobbi Kristina Brown and Whitney Houston’s graves in New Jersey allowed him to say his goodbyes.

Shortly after Bobbi Kristina died, Nick Gordon’s mother issued a statement on his behalf.

“Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they’ve been apart,” the statement read.

There is now some speculation that Nick Gordon’s legal team will try to get their hands on a portion of Whitney Houston’s fortune. It is uncertain if Bobbi Kristina had a will, and if not, legalities will revert to those stated in Whitney Houston’s will. That mandates dividing the money between Cissy Houston and Whitney’s brothers.
