Grand Theft Auto V comes out in September, but a mere month before it comes the title’s strongest competition – Saints Row IV. Can a game that was originally intended to be DLC for Saints Row: The Third compete with what’s looking to be Rockstar’s masterpiece?

We can’t yet really determine which is better, but we can watch a 10-minute gameplay demo. The new demo shows the opening of Saints Row IV and a bit of its open-world gameplay. In short – it looks like more Saints Row, and that has yet to be a bad thing.

Saints Row IV launches on August 20 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It won’t hit Australia, however, until the developers remove what’s called an “Alien Anal Probe.”
