Victoria Prince, who has been dating Kevin Federline since 2008, got a surprise when she accompanied him to Vegas for what she thought was a business trip.

Federline reportedly proposed to Prince once they got there, then started making plans for the wedding on the spot. The couple got their marriage license on Friday and tied the knot on Saturday.

“Kevin told her he was going to Vegas for a job, but he surprised her by proposing and [then plans on] marrying her while they are there,” a source said. “Victoria really wanted this for a long time so she’s gotta be blown away. She’s proven herself with him from day one.”

Prince, a teacher, has a 2-year old daughter with Federline. He also has four other children; two boys with Britney Spears and a boy and girl with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson. The extended family members weren’t present for the nuptials.

Former backup dancer Federline found himself in the spotlight quite a bit during his whirlwind marriage to Spears, which ended in 2006. Since then, he’s kept a fairly low profile, appearing in a handful of television shows before landing a small role on “One Tree Hill” in 2008.
