Today is World AIDS Day, and UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador Victoria Beckham is reminding the world that we can make AIDS-related deaths zero.

“Zero new HIV infections. Zero discrimination. Zero AIDS related deaths. Let’s make it our mission,” she wrote on Instagram.

Beckham shared some images of a recent trip she made to Ethiopia, where she met with children.

“The world has committed to end the AIDS epidemic as part of the UNITED NATIONS Sustainable Development Goals and I truly believe this is a real possibility. We have come such a long way in the fight against AIDS – Huge global efforts have created proven results, and more and more people are accessing treatment and prevention services. But we are not there yet. There are still people left behind due to gender inequalities, stigma and discrimination, violations of human rights and lack of resources. In my role as a Goodwill Ambassadors for UNAIDS, I am proud to take a stand, speaking up for change and pushing on towards our common goal of ending AIDS,” Beckham says.
