Vanessa Hudgens will go on with the show, despite the passing of her father on Saturday. Set to star Sunday night in Fox’s live musical event Grease: Live!, Hudgens will dedicate her performance to her late dad.

Taking to social media, Vanessa Hudgens shared word of her father’s death via Twitter.
I am so sad to say that last night my daddy, Greg passed away from stage 4 cancer. Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers.

In addition to Vanessa Hudgens, Grease: Live! will star Julianne Hough as Sandy and Aaron Tveit as Danny, in the roles Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta made famous back in 1978.
