Valeria Lukyanova, otherwise known as the ‘Living Barbie,” has undergone many expensive and extensive surgeries in order to change her appearance and make herself look more like a Barbie doll. Her appearance is as interesting as it is bizarre and her personality matches her outlandish looks.
Valeria has been known to make some strange comments and remarks over the last few years, but none of them are as strange as her views on mixed race people and her reason for not wanting to have children.
During a recent interview with GQ magazine, she said,
“Mixed race people are a degeneration of beauty. For example, a Russian marries an Armenian, they have a kid, a cute girl, but she has her dad’s nose. She goes and files it down a little, and it’s all good. Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration, and it didn’t used to be like that. Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this.”
“It’s unacceptable to me,” she continued. The very idea of children brings out this deep revulsion in me… I’d rather die from torture because the worst thing in the world is to have a family lifestyle. What would you keep the children for? So they can get you a glass of water when you’re on your deathbed?”
It is clear that Valeria has no intentions of having children any time soon and with her current views, that may be a good thing. The “Living Barbie” is allegedly married, but little is known about her husband. She has refused to give his name or any other information about him because she does not want to ruin his reputation. Many people wonder if he is even real.
While it’s strange that someone who is into spirituality, plastic surgery and out-of-body travel, would be so close-minded when it comes to interracial couples and mixed race children, very few things that Valeria says or does are understandable.
