Popular iOS/Android app Bump just got a new update, allowing users to bump photos from their phone to their computer.
“It’s as easy as it sounds,” a representative for Bump tells WebProNews. “Starting today, everyone who uses Bump can go to http://bu.mp on their computer web browser, select photos in the Bump app on their phone, and gently bump the spacebar on their computer.”
Photos instantly appear on the computer, and can then be saved to a hard drive, or shared via social media or email or IM.
“There’s no software to install or registration required – it’s how technology should work,” the rep says.
It works with Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
According to Dave on the Bump blog, tens of millions of people have bumped over 600 million photos in the last two years. This should significantly increase those numbers.
I have to say, the whole things works beautifully, and is pretty awesome.
