Tim Tebow hasn’t had much time to devote to Twitter lately; between a scandalous trade to the New York Jets after the Broncos essentially dumped him for Peyton Manning and a recent lawsuit between Nike and Reebok over jerseys bearing his name, he’s kind of had a lot on his plate.
But he must have sensed that he needed to reach out to New Yorkers on a more personal level than a press conference, because he broke his Twitter drought yesterday by tweeting his mission to Jets fans, particularly Fireman Ed, a well-known Jets supporter.
Just heard some people couldn’t see one of my tweets last night bc of a pop-up survey? Sorry! Here’s what I said: twitter.com/TimTebow/statu…

Fireman Ed and the rest of Jets nation, I’m gonna play my heart out for you.
