Think about it: what’s the best piece of advice that your grandmother ever gave you? Personally, my answer to that question is simple. Feeling guilty about accepting money from a neighbor when I was a kid (I was a weird kid), I told my grandmother that I didn’t want to take it.
She said, “Never turn down money. If they didn’t want to give it to you, they wouldn’t have given it to you.”
True story.
