I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

So begins Liam Neeson’s debut as one of the most badass characters of our time. He will return at an unknown date for Taken 2, with a screenplay co-written by the master of espionage thrillers, Luc Besson. Right now the film is in post-production. Still a lot of editing to go before we get our first taste of the upcoming film with a teaser trailer.

Today we get our first publicity stills. Just a few so it’s not much to go on right now. Basically they show us what we already know: Neeson will be a badass, and he’ll do a lot of badass things, including more than your fill of karate chops to the throat.

This time around, Bryan Mills (Neeson) will be the one who gets kidnapped. His daughter must help rescue him and his wife from the father of one of the kidnappers from the first movie. She does, and Neeson uses more of his “particular skills” to eliminate them one by one, and get his family out of harms way.

This time around the film will be directed by Oliver Megaton (Columbiana). Megaton directed the third sequel to the Transporter. Pierre Morel directed both Taken and The Transporter, making this the second series that Megaton has taken over for him.
