  • Teresa Giudice was reportedly pulled over recently on her way home in an Uber after instructing the driver to drive as quickly as possible so she could get home in time.

The reality star was celebrating with family last week at the opening of her sister-in-law’s new store when she realized she had to get home fast; Giudice was on house arrest after being released from prison in December and now has a strict curfew of 10 p.m. The quick getaway was almost foiled by an officer who stopped her car on the way home, but according to Realitytea, he let the driver off with a warning.

The Giudices have had some rough times in recent months; while Teresa was serving time after a fraud conviction, their house was in danger of foreclosure and husband Joe struggled to be a full-time parent to their four daughters. However, they were able to pay what they owed on their house and keep it from going back to the bank.

“Like a lot of people, the Giudices had fallen behind on their mortgage payments, which then puts the home into foreclosure as a way to protect the bank. Fortunately, they were able to pay back the money owed in full and the home is no longer under the threat of foreclosure,” attorney James J. Leonard Jr. said.

Teresa hasn’t been home long, but she has projects lined up, including a memoir that will go back to her early life as well as detail what it was like to serve over a year in prison.

“It’s going to be about growing up from humble beginnings. She will also tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars,” her attorney said last year.
