Taylor Swift was once again named at the top of the list of “Celebs Gone Good” by the website DoSomething.Org.
The website encourages young people to “make the world suck less,” and claims to have over 2.2 million young people engaged in the fight to do things to make the world better. They champion causes like bullying, animal cruelty, cancer, and homelessness.
This year is the second year in a row for Swift, 24, to win the top honor. The website said this about Swift:
“The country-pop star has topped our chart for the second year in a row. And with good reason too, y’all. Swift recently celebrated her 24th birthday by GIVING gifts instead of getting. She donated $100,000 to the Nashville Symphony, which has faced extreme financial difficulties this year. Swift also headlined an event benefiting Centrepoint, an org working to help young people experiencing homelessness. It was hosted by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. (Her good-doing even transcends continents!)”
One Direction ranked second on the “Celebs Gone Good” list, followed by Beyonce, the late Paul Walker, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
Sandra Bullock, Kerry Washington, Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Seacrest and Carrie Underwood rounded out the top 10.
