Susan Sarandon told Bravo’s Andy Cohen that she arrived at most every awards show she ever attended stoned. During a segment of his show called Watch What Happens Live, he asked Sarandon to name one Hollywood event that she showed up to stoned.

“Only one?” she asked Cohen, as she started giggling. “I would say almost all except the Oscars!”

Sarandon won an Oscar back in 1995 for her role as a nun in Dead Man Walking. And while it sounds like she was sober when she showed up to collect her award, it’s a bit disconcerting to imagine the actress arriving anywhere stoned.

Fortunately for Susan, Cohen’s questions–which he asks on a segment called “Plead the Fifth,” didn’t find the actress divulging any more questionable tidbits about her life. He finished out the segment asking if there were any roles she had ever regretted. There weren’t. And then he asked her to dish about past Hollywood hook ups. She received the option to plead the fifth–which she still held–when the segment started. She used it for this question.

Susan Sarandon definitely isn’t the least likely of all Hollywood actresses to admit to being stoned at Hollywood award shows, but she likely doesn’t come in first place–if in fact such a list existed. It just goes to show that even though celebrities often live their lives on the front pages of tabloids, there are often many little-known facts that they manage to keep hidden.

Andy Cohen is sure to learn more intriguing secrets from other’s pasts on his Bravo show. If you could choose one celebrity and one question for an upcoming “Plead the Fifth” segment, who would it be and what would you want to know?
