Steve Jobs’ cancer has been widely known to have been the cause of his death, but now details have come out about the specific cause.
Bloomberg, which has apparently seen the death certificate, is reporting that “respiratory arrest” was listed as the immediate cause of death, with “metastatic pancreas neuroendocrine tumor” listed as the underlying cause.
The report also says that the certificate had Jobs listed as an “entrepreneur” as his occupation, in the “high tech” industry, and that his death occurred five years after the onset of the tumor.
The funeral was held this past Friday at a cemetery in Santa Clara County.
Upon news of Jobs’ death, the release date for his biography was moved up, and now it sounds like there’s even a movie in the works.
