Sophie Hunter and Benedict Cumberbatch are the proud parents of a new baby boy.

A representative for the couple shared word of their baby’s birth in a statement.

“Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son,” the statement reads. “We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”

It was back in January when Sophie Hunter and Benedict Cumberbatch shared word that they were expecting–just weeks after announcing their engagement.

The couple got married on Valentine’s Day in Mottistone on England’s Isle of Wight.

The Imitation Game star talked during an interview back in 2013 about the perfect woman.

“A woman who knows that she doesn’t have to get all decked out to look good is sexy. A woman who can make you feel smart with her conversation skills is also sexy. I believe the sense of humor is important. I also think someone who is good at working with others is sexy,” he said.
