Modern Family star Sofia Vergara hasn’t always had an easy life. She was married at the early age of 18 only to divorce two years later. Then, when Vergara was 26 years old, her older brother was murdered. A few years later she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, after which she made a full recovery. But lately it seems as if the Colombian actress’ life is on the mend with her success in television and film and the recent introduction of love back into her life.

The 42-year-old beauty has been seen walking hand-in-hand with True Blood star Joe Manganiello around Los Angeles and recently displayed their relationship at the Hollywood Bowl on August 1.

Vergara attended the event to support her Modern Family costar Sarah Hyland in her first performance of Hair.

Tyler Ferguson, also of Modern Family fame, posted a picture of himself, along with his husband Justin Mikita, Vergara, and Manganniello on Instagram at the event.

In July, Ferguson joked about the Vergara relationship rumors on Twitter by posting: “All these rumors are crazy… Here’s the truth: I’M actually dating @SofiaVergara…it happened after @JoeManganiello & I broke up.”

Hyland also spoke up about the relationship saying that Vergara and Mangeniello would make “really hot babies.”

“I know Joe, and he is divine,” Hyland continued. “He played my boyfriend’s dad in an episode of Medium, so we’ve known him for quite some time. He’s just an amazing person, and I love them individually. So him and Sofia together, I’m all for it!”

The newly talked-about couple seem to really be in it to win it, now introducing family into the mix. They recently traveled together to Miami to visit Vergara’s friends and family and, at the end of July, were seen on a double date with Manganiello’s brother and pregnant wife.

But it isn’t just love and romance. A source told RadarOnline that 37-year old Manganiello is a “good influence” on Vergara.

“He is teaching her that she can have just as much fun without drinking and has gotten her into fitness and health,” the source said. “They even workout together.”
