"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has revealed the sex of her baby, announcing that she and fiance Jianni Lavalle will welcome a baby boy come this fall. She admits a bit of disappointment, saying she was hoping to be able to dress up a little girl in pink animal print, but says of course she will be a happy mom nonetheless.

In a show of what is arguably her best decision-making since becoming an unlikely television star, Snooki says she will appear in the upcoming season of "Jersey Shore" but will not be living in the famed Shore house with her castmates, although the decision has nothing to do with ill-will towards the other stars of the show; the culprit, according to Snooks, is the germ-filled "smoosh room", a designated area for everyone in the house to hook up with significant others, strangers, or each other.

"With all the bacteria and everyone having sex in the smoosh room it’s just not where a pregnant person or a baby should be," Snooki said.

The reported plan is for Snooki to reside in a house nearby during filming. A spinoff of "Jersey Shore" starring Snooki and Jennifer "J-Woww" Farley has already been filmed and will premiere later this year.
