Shih Tzus are a breed that tend to be so freaking cute, it’s practically illegal.
First of all, Shih Tzus are among the cutest little balls of fur you will ever see in your lifetime.
And then there are the eyes.
If you look into the eyes of a Shih Tzu, there is a 50/50 chance you will never have anything remotely resembling free will ever again.
And if you do, then you still won’t be able to resist putting your adorable Shih Tzu into cutesy costumes.
Which is why this too-precious-for-words viral video featuring a Shih Tzu in a teddy bear costume was, in fact, somewhat inevitable.
You may be left wondering why no one thought to do this sooner!
Yes, it’s important that this cute little Shih Tzu named Munchkin (and if you have to stop reading this to go flail and squeal, you are forgiven…) get her workout.
But the pet’s owner decided it was a perfect opportunity to multitask.
This meant Munchkin the Shih Tzu took a jog on the family treadmill AND melted hearts of everyone everywhere by doing “doggie cosplay”.

The clip of Munchkin on the treadmill goes on for about thirty seconds. Kudos to anyone who only watched it the one time and then went back to their lives.
Everyone else has been utterly captivated by this adorable Shih Tzu.
If you want proof, just look at the millions of views accumulated in less than two days. That’s certainly all proof that you need that cute animals like Munchin the Shih Tzu can make even the most mundane activities worth repeated viewings.
In actuality, this particular Shih Tzu has been gaining fame since Halloween, when it went viral for running around in its oh-so-cute teddy bear costume.
By the time Christmas roles around, Munchin the Shih Tzu just might replace Grumpy Cat herself as the animal darling of the internet.
What is your favorite dog breed? Have you ever dressed your pet up in costumes (and did they like it)?
