Selena Gomez has had quite a month; after being linked to her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber when they were spotted out together, a slew of text messages were leaked that allegedly showed a fight between the couple and ended with Bieber saying she was nothing without him.

“Can’t hear you over my cash, babe! You’re only famous cuz of me. You know it. I know. Everybody knows. Bye. … Go f–k someone else,” Bieber allegedly texted Gomez after she told him to get help for a drug addiction.

While the messages haven’t been verified as belonging to either star, it’s true that Bieber has had some issues in recent weeks, including being at the center of a felony vandalism investigation and an arrest for drag racing while under the influence. But now, Gomez has other things to worry about: namely, a teen intruder who was arrested after a family member spotted him on the property.

Police arrested 19-year-old Juan Daniel Garcia on suspicion of trespassing early Saturday morning. The teen said he was there to meet Selena in person, but it’s not known whether she was home at the time. Garcia’s bail has been set at $1,000.

Gomez talked about her love life a bit in a recent interview with Seventeen, saying she turned to her girlfriends for advice. Luckily, she’s friends with some famous ladies who know what it’s like to deal with guys outside the circle of fame.

“I actually talked to Katy Perry about guys who are intimidated by strong girls,” she said. “I haven’t found someone yet who could understand my lifestyle, support it, love me through it, and not be threatened by it. It’s hard.”

The actress/singer also talked about her friendship–and falling out–with Demi Lovato, saying the things Lovato was struggling with a few years back–substance abuse, self-harm– were too much for her to handle at first.

“Demi’s very, very strong. She’s the only person that I would tell the deepest, darkest secrets to. The only person. I’ve known her since we were 7, and we did fall apart for a while,” Gomez said. “She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing. I processed it saying, ‘OK, I don’t understand what she’s going through so I’m just going to do this.’ I don’t think it was fair, and I’m so happy that I have her back in my life now.”
