Selena Gomez was reportedly served legal documents in L.A. on Thursday, and according to a source at E! News, they pertain to a fight Justin Bieber had with a photographer in 2012.
"Selena has been ordered to appear on April 23, 2014, to be deposed in Los Angeles," the source said.
Bieber allegedly kicked and punched Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran when he couldn't move his car due to a group of paparazzi surrounding him; Duran filed suit last June against the pop star. According to the document, Gomez was with Bieber at the time and yelled, "Justin, stop! They're taking your picture!"
Gomez can reportedly expect to be questioned about anything she observed from Bieber around that time, her relationship with the pop star, whether she ever witnessed violence from him, and whether she ever witnessed him taking a controlled substance.
The actress/singer entered a rehab program in Arizona in January, and while her reps say it wasn't for anything related to substance abuse, many believe she went to take a time out from her relationship woes with Bieber. The duo have been off and on for several months during his legal battles.
