Scott Disick returned to Las Vegas and the club scene that likely contributed to his last downfall on Friday. He played host at a Sin City nightclub–Mirage’s 1 OAK. He reportedly didn’t give in to his demons, however.

Earlier that same day, in an Instagram photo, Scott Disick shared a very peaceful beach scene.

“This is what I need right now,” he captioned it.

It was only hours later, however, that he jetted off to Vegas.

Perhaps he decided he needed something else instead?

While in Vegas, a reporter asked Scott Disick how he was dealing with the big changes in his life. The reporter was no doubt referring to his recent split from Kourtney Kardashian. It was clear the split wasn’t far from his mind. Kourtney broke things off with her partner of ten years when he returned from Monte Carlo. While abroad he was photographed in some rather cozy situations with a stylist named Chloe Bartoli.

“You gotta take every day a day at time I guess, right?” he answered.

Another reporter asked if he was okay.

“Sure,” was Scott Disick’s reply.

He seemed excited to return to Las Vegas.

“I’m excited,” he said as he entered the club at the Mirage. “I haven’t been here in a while so I’m excited to be back. I got to have dinner at Stack, which I love so, yeah, I’m excited.”

Once inside, Scott Disick was spotted sipping water.

So are things all but over for Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick?

Not so fast, it seems.

A source claims a reconciliation isn’t completely out of the question.

Is Kourtney Kardashian crazy?

“Scott is not totally out of the picture,” the source explains. “She hasn’t made a final decision. Right now, she’s just living day to day. She’s not begging him to see the kids, but she also hasn’t definitively said ‘I’m never letting him back again.'”

While it’s good to know Scott Disick didn’t get drunk during this weekend’s event in Vegas, it’s also frightening to think Kourtney Kardashian might let him back into her life again. One would hope she would demand he spend a long, long time in rehab and more than prove himself before taking that kind of chance.

After all, it’s not just the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s wellbeing at stake. It involves the wellbeing of their children–Reign, Penelope, and Mason Disick–as well.
