Sarah Palin raised “Today” show’s morning ratings by appearing on Tuesday morning, beating out Katie Couric.
One of the first things that she was asked by Matt Lauer was whether she was happy that numbers indicate that Mitt Romney will be the top-running Republican candidate for the presidential election. She did not look very pleased and said, “Anything is still possible … but the numbers are what the numbers are.” She added that she thinks “anybody but Obama would be so much better for our country” because of his “failed socialist policies.”
Really? Anybody?
She also says Obama “thwarted opportunities for resource development” and has no energy policy whatsoever.
Jon Stewart made fun of her appearance on the show and says that Palin is, “Cynically exploiting a manufactured notion of herself as a crusader against a monolithic exclusionary activist liberal media whilst actually enjoying a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship with them only to the detriment of the rest of the county.”
Stewart went on to say that Palin is prejudiced and has overly simplistic world views.

Jon Stewart. Thank dog for your wisely sardonic perspective on Sarah Palin and her “infiltration” (read invitation) to the Today Show.

COLUMN:Sarah Palin is terrible not only for ‘Today,’ but for today.
Apparently she got a big thumbs down from viewers despite increasing the show’s ratings.
What did you think of her Today stint?
