One was a child actor who received fame on the 90s sitcom Roseanne, and the other called herself a non-blonde and asked the question “What’s going on?” in the grunge inspired hit What’s Up.

Well now, the two have become one, as Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry are officially married. The story was first reported by Us Weekly.

Back in September of last year, the daytime talk show host revealed that she was gay, but said it was important for people to know that she wasn’t coming out of the closet, she was just ready to be herself fully and openly.

“I don’t ever really think of things as out or in,” said Gilbert. “I just think I am who I am, and when topics come up that are appropriate, Ill talk about them and share when it seems right.”

Unlike many other celebrities, Gilbert and Perry are choosing to keep their wedding ceremony under wraps, as neither of them have tweeted about it or used any other kind of social media to give the public updates, and why should they, since they’ll both have plenty of time to catch everyone up, especially Gilbert on her show The Talk.

However, the Roseanne star did speak a little bit about being proposed to, and she said that Perry pulled out all the stops and completely caught her off guard, and the reason why she was so surprised is because she was thinking about proposing to Perry herself, and thought the surroundings they were in at the time was the perfect place to pop the question.

“I’m sitting there listening and I’m kind of daydreaming and I’m thinking, ‘If I ever proposed to her this would be an amazing way to do it,'” said Gilbert. “The people picnicking next to us pull out string instruments from under the blanket, walk over and they start play Lovesong [by The Cure]”
