The internet learned a bit more about Samuel L. Jackson this week. We already know that he is a great actor, but now we know that the man can’t sing a lick.

And we absolutely love it.

Jackson hosted a celebrity-filled Karaoke party in London on Thursday night in order to raise money for his charity One for the Boys, which is a male cancer awareness program. Jackson sang a funky rendition of the 1993 Robin S. classic Show Me Love at the event.

The Pulp Fiction actor was later called the “Karaoke King” by British model Daisy Lowe, who posted this brief clip on her Instagram account of Jackson belting it out.

Toni Collette, Nicole Scherzinger, Nick Grimshaw, and Dominic Cooper were also in attendance. The charity event was held at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Several of the attendees took part in recording a single called Say Something, a song for the charity written by the band A Great Big World. The tune will also feature Sir Paul McCartney and is expected to be released in time for Christmas.

Jackson, who is the charity’s chairman, said of the Karaoke party, “What better way is there to unite men than through music? Last night saw us mark the start of the recording of our charity single, ‘Say Something,’ which we hope will make men realize that they can say something when it comes to cancer. Men don’t tend to talk about their health issues, thinking it reveals vulnerability.”

“One For The Boys aims to shine a blue light into the world of campaigning, cutting through the noise to educate men, encouraging early detection and treatment,” Jackson continued. “We believe this single featuring the world’s leading artists, can save lives.”
